GPTip can be used free of charge for your office pool, betting pool etc.
You can tip the pole position, rank 1-8 and the driver of the fastest lap.
Timeout:
Tip-timeout is one hour before qualifying starts. You can also change your tips until that time.

Example 1: Your tip was that a driver reaches Position 7, but he reached Position 18. You get 20 points.
Example 2: Your tip was that a driver reaches Position 6, and he reached Position 6. You get 85 points.
Note: For the tips for positions 1-8, points are given according to the official result, and NOT according to the order the drivers crossed the finish line.
Example:If a driver gets disqualified after the race, the positions AFTER disqualification are taken for score calculation.
Note:Under certain circumstances a ranking is given by race authorities even if a driver could not finish the full race distance.
Note:For the pole position tip, the driver that stands on pole position would be the correct tip, NOT the driver that wons qualification.
Example:If the winner of the qualifying gets a penalty and therefore starts from the end of the field, the correct tip for pole position ist the 2nd fastest driver in qualifying.
What are tip groups?
GPTip allows several tip groups to play independent from other players/groups.
For example, one can create a tip group for office and another tip group for family.
After each race one can see the best players in each group.
1. A friend already created a group.
You can join this group by asking your friend for the group name and the group joining password.
After creating your personal account for GPTip, you can then join your friends group.
2. There is no tip group, but you want to play against your friends.
First, create an account an GPTip, then create a new group and invite your friends by sending them the group name and joining password.
For security reasons, you should not use your GPTip account password as the group-joining password.
